The Australian Dream Is Rooted in Racism. It Was There at the Birth of the Nation, and It Is Still There Now. But You Can Choose To Be Different. Imagine someone walking into your house, taking all your possessions and killing your family. You watch in horror, unable to protect anything or anyone. Helplessly, you live with trauma for years on. Now imagine every year, on the same day of killing and loot this person celebrates the anniversary of stealing your house, your land and killing of your family. How would you feel? This is what Australia Day is. Racism is rooted in the birthing and the constitution of his country. It’s like an onion — in layers it unfolds.
