My name is Kowshik Muthyalu. I finished my BBA and trying to start my career in Digital Marketing. Presently, I am doing Internship under Deepak Kanakraju Sir. As a part of my Internship, he gave us the assignment to take the Interview of Influencer. Then the first name came into my mind is Mr. Pavan Kumar Potti.

I feel very fortunate to Interview my guru. It’s the first time ever in my life I take text Interview of an Entrepreneur who has 15 Years of Experience in the corporate world.

ABOUT PAVAN KUMAR POTTI

After completion of his graduation, he worked for many MNC’s like Deloitte, HSBC, Tata AIG, Metlife and many more at different levels. After gaining an experience of 15 years in the field of Finance, Marketing and Business Development he quit his job and started his own Business Development agency called PRAMAN MANAGEMENT ACADEMY. Now he is giving his services for more than 10 MNC’s.

1. Kowshik:- What drove you to quit your high paying job?
   Pavan:-Life lets you fly high, but you have to fulfill your part from coming out of the comfort zone. I want to fly high and I had done my part. It is as simple as that.

2. What made you stay in this corporate field for so many years and not quit early..?

Experience and knowledge. Yes, these are the only ones that acted as a fuel that made to stay here for so long and not to quit early. Before starting anything, you should have a good amount of knowledge and it is always better if you have a good amount of experience also.

3. What are the hurdles you faced in setting up your own Agency?

I am married and I have two children. So, I have lots and lots of family pressure to not to quit my job. I sold my plot to start this agency, which ended up bringing me into financial pressure as well.

4. Why most of the Entrepreneurs, fail these days..?
Lack of patience, lack of vision and lack of enthusiasm. Yes, patience is the key to get success in any field. This is being lacked in this generation. The word Entrepreneur is being used or seen as a fancy word and everyone wants to become one. But they are lacking vision and enthusiasm.

5. Can you tell me some of your strengths that really helped you in building such an agency?
我从不放弃！当您坚持自己的所有努力时，您肯定会达到成功的高度，但请记住，总会有一刻会迫使您下台，那时使自己意识到自己为什么在这里和继续前行。

6. Please describe to us the satisfying client you ever dealt with.
Tringcity, is an information-based website and this is my first ever project as an entrepreneur. When the whole market is fed up with a website like JD and you are bringing them a similar product to sell, that is the worst but an experiencing phase of my entrepreneur journey.

7. How do you manage time to run your all organization and agency efficiently?
It’s all about priority and to learn that you have to earn it. Your business or venture should be your heart and your client should be your first love. This one method will drive your time management force so well that you will achieve efficiency in running your organization...

8. How do you overcome your failure?
By doing retrospection. First, I need to accept that I have screwed up, and it’s not easy. I got to swallow my ego and pride before accepting and taking responsibility for the failure. Because if I don’t, I won’t learn anything from it and possibly I’ll make the same mistake again and again. Once I accept, I would look further and understand what the mistake was, how did I end up making it, and how can I avoid repeating it in the future.

9. Any words of wisdom for aspiring Entrepreneurs?

Failing to plan is planning to fail

Yes, this is the only mantra I would like to give to the aspiring people and besides that, you should have lots of patience.

10. As a Business Development Agency owner share with us your thoughts about Digital Marketing.
Digital marketing is a mixture of many things and it has the power to build or break a business within a short time. I am getting into youtube these days and I am shocked by seeing the traffic I receive. This is the future.
