Really mehn, what is the point? Struggles, suffering, working even when we are tired, what is the point? We are all going to die at the end and it is not like these things we want will come with us. So what is the point of wanting them in the first place? I stopped trying to win and they called me names — ‘lazy’, ‘weak’, ‘not a man’ but no one called me woke because that is what I am, I have realized that none of these matter anyways.

My favourite movie is the Pursuit of happiness but I skip to the end because what was the point. I understand the concept of a good story but no one deserves to go through all that before winning. Why is it that the first idea it’s not the one that pops, why do we have to go from A to Z before we smile, what is really the point?

What is the point of all these deaths, like why can’t we just have the good ones stay with us. Why do they have to leave first to prove a point? Why do I have to stop believing in long life first? What is the point of all this if at the end of the day, the result will b; he/she is in a better place. What is really the point?

I don’t have an answer to the question which is why I’m asking you but what I do know is most times it is worth it; like the juice is worth the squeeze. Most times the point is the end and that is the reason why l. Now, like I said, I do not have an answer to the question because the answer I have doesn’t make sense. If the point is the end then why do we have to suffer the middle, what is the essence of a good story?

Why must darkness come before the light, this is not the creation story in the Bible. Light already exists so why can’t we just have light? Why can’t everything just be good? What is the point of this blood sweat and tears and for what in the end? To get things that won’t last forever ?

These unanswered questions leave me blank each time and each time it leaves black soots that opens up a hole of darkness.

What is the point really ? The black boy magic was far gone and The “whys” are still left pending.
